Yats To Washington: Please Buy Ukraine

Ukraine Prime Minister Arseniy “Yats” Yatsenyuk is lobbying Washington to convince American firms to buy up Ukraine in the country’s planned flea market of state controlled enterprises.

“The Prime Minister of Ukraine has urged U.S. partners to actively use the investment opportunities offered by the privatization campaign in Ukraine, particularly in the energy sector,” a statement posted on Ukraine’s governmental website said on Monday.

Only the Clintons have that kind of money now.

He wants me to pay him money for the coal mines in Donetsk? Those that he does not control? It's amazing how many people are trying to sell bridges in the Brooklyn and swampland in Florida.

An investor would be even better off investing into Greece, if he has to choose between that and Ukraine. At least Greece is a modern country. But of course nobody in his right mind would invest into either of those. There aren't too many good investment targets in Europe.
