I get that angle, sure. But it seems there would be better ways to go about jockeying for a cabinet position than jumping in to an already crowded primary, with really no chance of winning. And I say that as a New Yorker - why waste his time?
He will get some rubes to give him some money, get mentioned in the press more than since he was governor, then throw whatever support he can claim behind whoever he thinks is getting the nomination.
What else has he got to do with his time?
