Campus Reform reports that a former active-duty Marine who served two combat tours in Iraq and is diagnosed with combat-related PTSD was suspended from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi after he requested to meet with a non-Muslim counselor in the school’s Office of Counseling and Disability Services.

my sister graduated from this university...its a Christian college...she’s an unwed mom and wore a wedding ring cause she didn’t want comments on her status as an unwed mom.

I would bet good money that they would have granted the request if a female asked for a female counselor, or a Muzzie asked for a Muslim counselor. His crime was in being a male, and letting it be known that he’d relate more comfortably to a male. I wish things like this ever happened to me, because I’d make it a point to ask for a Christian counselor.
Actually, I think Mr. Rawls was being more sensitive than the idiots who suspended him. Imagine how the Muzzie counselor would have reacted to him telling her how he sent numerous Muzzie brothers to be with their 72 virgins? I don’t think she could be unbiased in her treatment of him.
And what idiot thought it would be a good idea to pair an Iraqi veteran with a Muzzie counselor?

Possibly also his military background. He should be able to request a non-muslim male. I would bet that any other student could request a non-white, non Christian, of either of the many sexes, counselor and have one provided without any problems.
