Yes, too many nephews, too many nieces. But we live in Freedom by virtue of their sacrifice. As President Reagan said:

"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same."

And so we must do now!

I am prepared to give my life in their defense."

It is given at Arlington, as it should be. In other places, I have no knowledge.

I was not aware of the Ladies of Arlington until my Father's funeral in 1998. They stood at his burial as they do at all burials of our Fallen and deceased military at Arlington.

Sadly, there are some of our Fallen who have no family present at their interment. These Ladies stand to acknowledge and honor their sacrifice for our Nation. God Bless them!
