Prepare to say goodbye to TLC show “19 Kids and Counting.”

The family-centric reality show is being pulled from the network’s TV schedule one day after Josh Duggar issued an apology following molestation allegations, Page Six has learned.

It’s unclear if the network has made any permanent decisions regarding the show’s future but information about the show remains on the network’s site as of Friday.

There’s a fair chance you’ll be surprised, too.

I agree.

I was brought up and baptized in the Southern Baptist Church and while I would love it if all that is promised is awaiting me, I have my doubts.

I'm with ya...I was raised in the church, and then went my own way in later adolescent life.

We’ve all got to figure out life for ourselves one way or another.

You are correct. Interestingly enough, my study of American History brought me back to the Bible, and I've been fortunate enough to find my way this far. Specifically, I've noted time and again the faith of the Founders corresponding with the level of courage they had to do what they did. Even more fascinating is the fact that we have come so far away from that in terms of our own faith, and that loss of faith has directly corresponded with the total lack of courage on the part of "patriots" today. There IS a similarity, and the sooner we find our faith once again, the sooner we will be able to take our Country back. It won't happen, however, until we rediscover our faith.

I’ve always felt a sense of duty of protecting those weaker than me, especially innocent children. That’s where my comments come from. I have seen too many people do too many bad things and get away with it. I don’t care if they are Christian or heathen or rich or poor. I will denounce it when I see it, call people out on it in life when I encounter it, and do what I can to help those who truly cannot help themselves.

Yes, however I would rather that accusation come from others.

I’m on my way to rediscovering my faith. It’s not what I was brought up with, but the more things I see and study in the world around me, the more open I am to the idea that this isn’t all here by chance.

I understand mistakes, but sticking one's hand where it doesn't belong is a decision. A 14 year old teenager knows not to fondle little girls, especially family members. This decision is also a lot worse than sneaking into a similarly aged female's house to get laid.

If he did that to one of my family members, I'd give him the 3's treatment with no regrets.

Before you throw those stones, try to remember what you were doing....thinking....at 14.

I wasn't a saint, but I wasn't thinking about fondling little girls at 14, especially those within the family.

I think people need to stop thinking about the image that the Duggars portrayed themselves as on TV and remember that it's a TV show.

but the more things I see and study in the world around me, the more open I am to the idea that this isn’t all here by chance.

Stephen Hopkins of Rhode Island was a signer of the Declaration. If you notice his signature (Google it), it's shaking like crazy. It's said that, upon signing, he looked at his signature and stated "My hand trembles, but my heart does not".

In later years, George Washington would suggest that he was astounded the British didn't know where he and his troops were the night they crossed the Delaware. He mentioned that his men had just marched some 20 miles through blizzard like conditions, and most of the men had little or nothing but rags on their feet, and they left a trail of blood for 20 miles in the snow from frost bitten feet. Instead of giving up, however, they spent many hours battling the frozen river in blizzard like conditions to cross the river, then marched ANOTHER 12 miles to engage the Hessians at Trenton, where they would find their attack plans in the pocket of one of the soldiers, unopened.

There is story after story after story like this throughout our Nation's founding. Tell me the hand of God wasn't on this Nation's founding. It's where the courage came from, and it gave them the will to continue under the worst circumstances.

Again, you are attempting to rationalize sin, and there is no rationale to sin, other than it is evil.

Yeah, lets be legalistic because we are so much better than those we dislike.

If I delved into your life, I would find sin. All sin is sin. He was a child. And in this family, he was more of a child than most.

Do I want him working around children, no. But, I do not think he should be deprived of life and comfort because of this.

Ridiculous. Saddening how the right loves to jump on the bandwagon and destroy people. No different than the left.

How sad for the Duggars daughters that the parents chose to protect the son over them.
Forgiving the sinner is good but protecting children from someone who sees them as sexual objects is great.

And to put a skeptics eye on it, perhaps the British took a look outside the tent and said “hey maybe the weather will clear in the morning”

but I totally understand what you’re saying.

I think there can be hubris that can lead to unwise actions when you’re 100% convinced the Lord is behind you and supporting your every action.

One thing that I do have faith in is that if there is indeed as I hope there is a God and an afterlife, that all the questions about why things are like they are will be explained. I couldn’t ask for a better afterlife than that.

Just so you know, doubt is a sin. Worry is a sin. All have sinned.

We seem to think we can equivocate away our sins just because they aren’t as bad as someone else’s. The consequences in our physical lives may be different. But the eternal consequence of sin - no matter the sin - is death.

The only payment for our sins in God’s eyes, all of our sins, no matter how big or small, was Christ’s death on the cross.

guess who said this?

“Some things are either right or wrong. It doesn’t matter who does them. When Hollywood hero Roman Polanski drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl and then fled the country instead of facing the consequences of his own guilty plea, there should be no defense of him from anyone. What he did was evil and reprehensible. The fact that he is a great director doesn’t obscure the fact that he robbed a child of far more than Bernie Madoff stole from his victim”

http://www.foxnews.com/story/2009/10/05/can-have-different-points-view-but-shouldnt-have-different-standards.html

same guy who said this

“Janet and I want to affirm our support for the Duggar family. Josh’s actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, ‘inexcusable,’ but that doesn’t mean ‘unforgivable.’ He and his family dealt with it and were honest and open about it with the victims and the authorities. No purpose whatsoever is served by those who are now trying to discredit Josh or his family by sensationalizing the story. Good people make mistakes and do regrettable and even disgusting things. “

Are you opposed to charging 14 year olds who are suspected of violent crime crimes as adults?

Are you sure ?

http://hollywoodlife.com/2015/05/21/josh-duggar-facing-criminal-charges-molesting-attorneys-react/

Q: Could Josh and Jim Bob be prosecuted now or has the statute of limitations expired?

A: It is likely that the statute of limitations have expired for any offenses that might have been committed. The allegations against Josh would most likely have been prosecuted as sexual assault in the second degree (A.C.A. section 5-14-125), defined as sexual conduct with a person less than fourteen years old by a person who is under the age of eighteen. This is a class B felony. The statute of limitations for a class B felony is three years. The statute of limitations is extended if the offense is committed against a minor. In that case, the three years does not begin until the victim turns eighteen. However, this exception only applies if the offense was not previously reported to a law enforcement agency. From what we know, these alleged offenses occurred thirteen years ago and were reported at least twelve years ago,”

He has already been prosecuted. His parents reported it to the police. That was 10 years ago, when he was still a minor. I don’t know what his sentence was, but it obviously wasn’t prison.

He was never prosecuted, because the parents covered it up until the statute of limitations ran.
