When I first saw this story the other day, it sure seemed like a set up to me. That area of southwest MS and southeast LA is pretty remote being between Waveland, MS and Slidell, LA. I know it well and traveled over that section of Hwy 90 for many years so it sure seemed suspicious to me. Lucky the LEO had the door release option to let the pup out. Dogs are awesome. We just had to put ours down yesterday and it really sucks. Proud of Lucas for saving his partner.
