Just wait for the big motorcycle auction...

Someone mentioned that it might not be healthy to purchase one of the motorcycles stolen by the police.

I'd be inclined to agree, in this Age of Information. There's a website where you can find owners of vehicles, and it's not a pay website.

If the motoboyz are willing to spring for a pay website, I'm sure they could get all sorts of dangerous info.

The authoritays aren't even being circumspect about running up the Jolly Roger on this one.

Wonder if the Tea Party or the conservatives are next on the "seizure" list?

Lastly, if the authoritays are pulling some cr#p on this, I'm wondering if there will be retribution from the involved parties.

I've always maintained that the reason the authorities don't go after the hard-core criminals is because it's dangerous, it doesn't help the bottom line like robbing the middle-class peasants, and that having the thug element out there scares the middle-class peasants into supporting the Police State (kind of like having the criminal element run the gulags, like in the old Soviet Union.)

When I was in high school, and having some association with the Bandidos, they would come back (to Houston) from San Antonio, and Austin almost every week, with trailer loads of stolen motorcycles.

It'd be like showing up at Sturgis with a (MC name deleted) number on your cases...some clubs mark them, and your story better match the previous owner's.

Live humbly, and thieves of any ilk tend to ignore you.
