Not good enough, Cruz would have done it early in the afternoon he was inaugurated.
Walker had only a 19-17 margin in the Senate. Frankly, it was a miracle that he held onto Schulz and Olson for Act 10 and Voter ID. He lost Schulz on Iron Mining, which was enough to squelch it temporarily. His efforts at getting a real expansion of vouchers was slapped back by Olson and others. He doesn't do the Executive Order thing.
Walker doesn't go for flash. He acts at a time and in a manner to get the stuff passed, and to make it stick.
For the record, Cruz is my first choice, but a lot of the whining (not all, but a lot) is badly misplaced.

“You can predict the future.”
Sure. If Obama offers some candy, I KNOW not to take it. if I become governor, it would not take me 3 YEARS to figure out that my predecessor did something very stupid.
...no, sorry, he (obviously) figured it might work, so he didn’t fight it - until the country turned on it.
Not much different than Amnesty, for him.
