As illegal immigrants continue to seek legal status under President Obama's executive actions, the waiting list to enter the United States legally grows longer, as does the waiting time for those in the pipeline.
American born Jimmy Gugliotta, who currently lives in Santiago, Chile, with his Argentinian wife and their children, has been waiting more than a year and a half for visas to bring his family to the U.S. He doesn't understand why going through the process legally puts him behind people who sneak into the U.S. illegally.
"It's really sad to see that we've been put in the back seat," Gugliotta told Fox News via email. "What I found outrageous is people like me, a U.S. citizen, are actually being put at the back of the line, and that to me is a total outrage."

My wife only waited 22 years. Citizen as of last month and is proud to be. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
In Barakistan honest people come last.
People who play by the rules, wait their turn, earn their own way, pay their own bills and raise their own children are treated like enimies of the state.
Line jumpers, criminals, rioters, looters, arsonists and moochers come first.
Good for you guys! You followed the law like we did........and it cost us thousands.
Thank you, and we like to do it right.
Definite ‘RAT voters get preference over possible ‘RAT voters.

Fellow I work with married a Mexican and now has kids. He doesn’t have any trouble visiting her, but it’s been several years that he’s been trying to get his wife and kids here legally.
about 1 1/2 years and $10k to get my wife a green card.

I think it would be so funny if all these people ended up voting for Republicans. I can sort of see it.
If it is his kids then they have the right to enter and citizenship.
If she was here prior to 97 and filed a paper then she doesn’t have to leave the country.
No paper, then she stays out for 6 months and comes in.
Family must maintain a 125% above poverty level income.
American entitlement. ...
Green card and citizenship about $2000.
Couldn’t get her job and have the employer sponsor her? /S
And I’m half jokingly, being sarcastic.

Cost em both in excess of $10k and 10 years.
Another from Australia came here and after 6 years of marriage became an American. I cried that day.
A year later, he dayvorced, became a wusband and I cried that day too.
Finally released from that prison, suffocating his soul.
LOL
My word. God Bless you both!
BTW, I saw this story on Fox this morning.
Lucky guy. His wife is beautiful but, having been to Chile myself, I’d be tempted to stay and vacation in the U.S..
Only takes a day to get back to Calipornia and Chile is darn near the same climate.
I love the place, the people and food. Very comfortable there and they put up with my blue eyed spanish, unlike those punks in Spain.
The Obama “fast track” trade deal is a trojan horse. Its disguised as free trade What It really allows is for Obama to flood the USA with unlimited number of immigrants and rewrite all U.S. laws ....

This is true that the illegals are making the legals wait longer.
Yeah, we were sold that bill of goods for 2012.
My aunt was an illegal alien. She applied for citizenship because she was damn tired of living like a criminal. From illegal to citizen, and she did it properly from lawyers to showing her paying taxes via ITIN so she wasn’t a bum to the system like these “Americans” who EBT their way to living.
This is how it should be, make it extremely hard like we do in Canada where now there is a much stricter quota system in place this year.
