It was not Bush. It was the idiot civilian he initially put in charge of Iraq as soon as the Hussein’s statue was toppled who created the wrath of the Iraqi Army when he alone refused to pay a lousy 50 bucks a man to the Iraqi Army men who all still had there AK’s. That dumb ass just said no and there were 500,000 or so pissed off troops with AK’s. I could not believe what I read.

This is a sectarian religious civil war (Sunni vs Shia) and the USA keeps taking sides.
Why? Why do we care which branch of Islam comes out on top?
Why are we asking our military men and women to lay down their lives so either Sunni or Shia are the top dogs in any particular portion of the region?
Make that start with Bush 41, just to be clear. Remember it was 41 who stopped the fight after we got the Saddams out of Kuwait. Most of us knew Saddam was the problem at the time. We had the opportunity at the time of Gulf War I to stabilize the neighborhood and 41 kicked that can so far I can still hear it rattling.
The real culprit in this whole mess wasn’t “W”, it was his father, since we invaded Iraq in 1991, which would inevitably lead to Saddam’s removal, an the power vaccum which is now being filled by ISIS.
