"You have to give President Obama credit: he is a transformational figure"

He's "transformational" alright.

"This president can be a transformative leader (he has that potential in my view), but only if he embraces and fights for a transformative agenda."--Sam Webb, Chairman Communist Party USA

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek"-- BARACK OBAMA

"The Communist Party USA views the 2008 elections as a tremendous opportunity to defeat the policies of the right-wing Republicans and to move our country in a new progressive direction.

The record turnout in the Democratic Presidential primary races shows that millions of voters, including millions of new voters, are using this election to bring about real change. We wholeheartedly agree with them."

A Landslide Mandate For Change

A breakthrough election
Congratulations on an extraordinary history making election!

We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-people’s movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all people’s movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.

The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and people’s unity.

There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.

The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

Change is Here, Change is Coming

Sam Webb, National Chair, Communist Party, USA:

Let me begin with a simple observation: If the last 30 years were an era of reaction, then the coming decade could turn into an era of reform, even radical reform. Six months into the Obama presidency, I would say without hesitation that the landscape, atmosphere, conversation, and agenda have strikingly changed compared to the previous eight years.

In this legislative session, we can envision winning a Medicare-like public option and then going further in the years ahead.

We can visualize passing tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry, which brought the economy to ruin.

We can imagine the troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan while U.S. representatives participate in a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.

In the current political climate, the expansion of union rights becomes a real possibility.

Much the same can be said about winning a second stimulus bill, and we sure need one, given the still-rising rate, and likely long term persistence, of unemployment.

Isn’t it possible in the Obama era to create millions of green jobs in manufacturing and other sectors of the economy in tandem with an attack on global warming?

Can’t we envision taking new strides in the long journey for racial and gender equality in this new era, marked at its beginning by the election of the first African American to the presidency?

And isn’t the overhaul of the criminal justice and prison system – a system steeped in racism – no longer pie-in-the sky, but something that can be done in the foreseeable future?

All these things are within reach now!

Good title. He has been ruling as a Sultan- Hussein the Magnificent. Really he only gets the "Magnificent" if he pulls off the destruction of the Jews, the Shias, or both. His arming of Iran with nuclear weapons would seem to be the effort to eliminate both. He will have flubbed badly if Israel pulls off a successful defense, say with anti missile weapons we know yet not of, and goes on to glassify Iran. I would not dismiss the possibility. An air attack by Israel would probably be destroyed by the US Navy but Israel doesn't have to rely on its airplanes. The Navy can probably kill the IDF submarines but not before they launch their missiles. I believe that, ideally for Hussein, Iran would destroy Tel Aviv and perhaps other cities and Israel's subs would then render Farsi a language no longer heard in the Middle East. Both enemies of Sunni Islam would be gone from the Middle East.

TAKING A PAGE FROM THE CLINTON GET-RICH-QUICK FOUNDATION SCAM "Obama foundation" announces presidential library location in Chicago

============================================

LIBRARY BRIBERY---CLINTON SOLICITED FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS
WHO SUBSIDIZED HIS FOUNDATION/LIBRARY IN ARKANSAS

The Library bills itself as "linking the significance of
a 20th century American presidency with the ongoing
and far-reaching work of The Clinton Global Foundation."

==================================================

No mention of Clinton being impeached and disbarred for lying.

====================================================

REALITY CHECK Despite its grandiose self-promotion, The William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park---- is just another "Clinton Cash" snake pit.....subsidized by taxpayers,....and some shady foreign characters.

As Hollywood hotshots protested the Beverly Hills Hotel over its ownership by Brunei's sultan and his embrace of Sharia law, it turns out the Brunei government has financial connections to the Clintons.

The Clinton presidential library lists Brunei along with Kuwait, Oman and Qatar (new home of the Gitmo Five) as donors that gave between $1 million and $5 million through last year.

The Clinton foundation itself confirmed the 2002 Brunei donation: "The Clinton Foundation's impact would not be possible without the generous support of our donors," the foundation's website reads. "Their contributions have made a difference in the lives of tens of millions across the world." Read more at foxnews.com ...

==================================================

Hillary later told Greta that Qatar was "not a threat to the US." Hillary never mentioned Qatar subsidizing the Clinton Library/Foundation....leading some to believe the donation was a payoff....Hillary bribed to defend Qatar....,blatantly ignoring America's ntl security interests.

============================

DEREK HUNTER ASKED ON TOWNHALL.COM Why do the world’s wealthiest people and foreign govts feel compelled to give the Clinton Foundation hundreds of millions of dollars to do "charity"...... which the do-good Clintons constantly brag about.....that are in reality innocuous activities that thousands of charities already do......

These "Foundations" have become little more than political extortion.....shakedowns....prolly money laundering, tax evasion havens, as well.

Taxpayers demand laws prohibiting public official and ex-presidents from forming foundations that are little more than personal ATM's. Opportunistic pols use con artist-type "shakedowns" to personally profit by selling access and favorable public policy "for a price."

“Of course, the transformation he has had in mind and has partially accomplished had to be covert, for the American voters would never have chosen this course knowingly.”

I totally reject the entire premise of this statement. The American Voter had plenty of opportunity to vet Obama and respond accordingly. The simple FACT of the matter was and remains that far too many of US are too damned LAZY to bother checking out people running for any office or to even bother going to the polls.

OBAMA couldn’t have gotten as far as he has without the help of the LAME STREAM MEDIA. Unfortunately, the majority of the US voting public would sell their “BIRTH RIGHT” for a little piece of the action. For an OBAMA PHONE, or a few more welfare dollars, and the constant reminder that “IT’S NOT THEIR FAULT THAT THEY ARE “POOR”. IT’S THOSE RICH PEOPLE THAT ARE HOLDING THEM DOWN”.
