Yes, many of the trust fund kids are liberals(white mans guilt). Their moms & dads & grandfathers & great grandfathers were the captains of industry. Vanderbilt’s offspring are a classic example.
However, many are smart individuals that were born with good DNA. The fruit does not fall far from the tree. The guy I mentioned in my previous post who works at Goldman Sachs I will use as an example. His parents were both doctors at NYC hospitals. He went to Columbia, met his wife there and now lives about a 1/4 mile from the shore in CT. They also own a house on Nantucket. He is a foreign currency expert for GS. He and his wife are both conservative.
Another example is my former neighbor here in NH. He also went to Columbia. He also met his wife there. They are both gifted musicians. She plays the upright harp. She is good enough to play in an orchestra. He is one step below a concert piano player. His father and uncle built up a business of 16 golf courses in their lives. They started with one they inherited from their parents. He and his brother now manage those courses. However, they are both liberal. He voted for Obama. At least the first time.
