The thrill went a while ago. Some months back, he attempted to give a concert that went horribly bad, from the audience's POV, any way. Didn't finish songs, forgetting the lyrics, etc.

Came across a cartoon that must have been from when Elvis died. Had Elvis's rotting corpse strung up like a marionette, probably with a sign saying "Farewell Tour", and the caption read "Nobody gets out of a contract with the Colonel."
