ROTFL! I thought he overdid it to entertain the radio audience!!!
His aim was to EDUCATE the audience on the threats of communists in and outside the government. He was one of a rare few doing it in those early days. People are just now beginning to see for themselves that he was right. I mean, look what we have today: an actual communist as president.
