Amidst revelations that ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos was an undisclosed contributor to the Clinton Foundation slush fund at the same time he was defending it on the air, some GOPers are finally putting their foot down.
Conn Carroll, formally the White House correspondent for Townhall and currently communications director for Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) had this to say on Twitter:
"I'm not letting my boss go on ABC until GStephanopoulos recuses himself from all 2016 coverage."
And Rand Paul is the First Republican presidential candidate to say George Stephanopoulos shouldnt moderate the 2016 debates.
Its impossible to divorce yourself from that, even if you try, the Kentucky senator told the New York Times in an interview. I just think its really, really hard because hes been there, so close to them, that there would be a conflict of interest if he tried to be a moderator of any sort.
Ted Cruz also came out against Stephanopoulos participating in the debates, telling reporters on Thursday that Stephanopoulos is a partisan Democrat who is actively supporting former Secretary of State Hillary Clintons presidential campaign.
Of course not, Cruz replied on Thursday when asked if Stephanopoulos should be hosting any debates in 2016. Debates should not be moderated by partisan Democrats who are actively supporting one of the candidates.
It turns out, Stephanopoulos has already said he will not be moderating any debates in 2016.
The Good Morning America co-anchor and host of This Week said that he would not moderate ABCs GOP debate, which is scheduled to take place in February in New Hampshire. Republican Sen. Rand Paul said Thursday that Stephanopoulos should be prohibited from moderating any debates during the 2016 presidential campaign.
I wont moderate that debate, Stephanopoulos said. I think Ive shown that I can moderate debates fairly.
Well no, actually. He really hasnt shown that he can moderate debates fairly at all. It was Steppie who introduced the Democrats patented 2012 #GOPWarOnWomen theme during the first GOP Primary debate in New Hampshire in January of 2012. Who can forget the look on Mitt Romneys face when he was hit with one pointless question question after another about hypothetical contraception bans.
That line of questioning was designed to galvanize low info, liberal female voters not to inform the electorate about the candidates position on an issue that actually matters.
So while its good that at least one obvious partisan is not going to be participating in the debates
Stephanopoulos said that he would not recuse himself from coverage of the 2016 presidential campaign, despite urging from the office of Republican Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, which said Thursday that Sen. Lee would be advised not to go on This Week unless the host recuses himself from all 2016 coverage.
ABCs remaining Republican viewers should recuse themselves from watching the networks news programs.
Meanwhile, the Stephanopoulis conflict of interest story is getting more conflicting and interesting by the minute it turns out, WFB missed some of Steppies donations to the Clinton Slush Fund.
And on Fox News, earlier today, Townhalls Guy Benson went into full Beastmode when he explained how ABC gave the WFBs scoop to the Politico.

George Stuffinenvelopes...LOL
Stephanopoulos is a creature of the Democrats. This has been obvious to everyone since the 90s.
Boycott all these leftist propaganda bastards.
North Korea’s media is more credible.
Not doing debate moderation is equivalent to being behind the scenes as a driving force influencing some other flunky who has been chosen to take his place. The fact he is still there is the problem............
FIRE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like flaming fools, they agree every 4 years to be grilled by hyperpartisan marxist @holes.
ABC-TV News is reportedly standing by Stephanopoulos.....but for how long? Because if they truly think it’s not a problem, then the “smoking gun” points not just to the credibility of Clinton donor George Stephanopoulos, but to ABC-TV News, as well.
Stephanopoli’s failure to mention his Clinton Foundation donation ...and apparently lying about the amt to ABC-TV.....is in violation of the ABC networks requirement of full disclosure....
ABC-TV may have also violated licensure requirements by the FCC.

Did Stephanpoli take a tax write-off for his donation?
Does he have a “gift receipt” from the Clinton Foundation that is generally used to claim a tax write-off?
How much did George list as a write-off on his IRS return....$50G? $75G?......or more?
Did anyone determine if he submitted a fraudulent tax return?
Did he lie to his employers?
What is WFB?
They should revolt over ALL OF THE DEMOCRAT OPERATIVES WHO WORK THERE.
Which means the entire staff, the producers, the writers, the cameramen, the janitors, the people who bring the coffee, pretty much the entire company.
Nothing gets on the air unless a Liberal Democrat approves it.

You know?
It's gotten to the point where I'm mad at them (the Republicans) for continuously doing this crap. Just say *NO* to F***ing Liberal Democrat partisan hacks who pretend to be "Journalists."
Formal and current? Formerly, Stephanopulous was a leftist falsely posing as a disinterested, and neutral, moderator.
The worst part is that George isn’t as biased as many other MSM reporters that don’t have such obvious ties to the Clintons
the number of circus media people who have documented conflicts of interest - ABCBSNBCPMSNBCNBC - is immense. Think of all the names of people that:
1. worked directly for demonrats and now for circus media
2. married or are lovers with people who work directly for demonrats
3. have close relatives (like brother/sister) are work directly for demonrats
those are all completely unethical situations. Conservatives should try to avoid being on those networks - but darn, it is every one of them. it is a cesspool.
Wash Free Beacon????
I have been saying for years, that we need to ATTACK the Liberal Democrat ran News media with every legal means at our disposal, including trying to get their licenses yanked for any and all reasons of which we can conceive.
We need to be trying to put these F***ers out of business. We need to hurt them, cost them money, file lawsuits against them, anything it takes to get our opinions equal time with that constant leftest drone that comes out of the national news services.
If the public could hear *OUR SIDE*, they wouldn't be electing so many liberal @$$wipes.
We have got to break the liberal media monopoly or we are doomed.
Watch Stephanopoulos Bullsh*t?
Thanks.
Yeah, WTF is WFB?
