ox News Channel is often the subject of critique by hosts of satirical programs like The Daily Show. Now, the network will launch a program that features monologues and parodies all its own.
The 21st Century Fox-owned outlet said it would launch a comedic news hour on Sunday nights hosted by Greg Gutfeld. The Greg Gutfeld Show will debut on May 31st at 10 p.m.,and will feature parodies on current events, conversation on key issues and signature monologues showcasing Gutfelds eclectic humor, the network said Thursday. Gutfeld is also expected to interview newsmakers, culture critics, and media personalities on major headlines of the week. Joanne Nosuchinsky, a Fox News contributor, will provide offbeat reports and commentary on the program.
Gutfeld, a former editor of Mens Health and Stuff magazines, is expected to continue as co-host of the Monday-to-Friday talk show The Five and to make appearances on Fox News OReilly Factor.
The anchor had been hosting a wee-hours program on Fox News called Red Eye, that ran between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. from 2007 until late February. Fox News said a rotating group of correspondents would continue to lead that program for the time being.

Going to be good. Maybe throw in a couple of dwarf tossing contests.
This isn’t going to help Obama change the way the media reports the news to only favor him and his policies.
What are they doing with Hannity?
this is good, he gets the old Matt Drudge spot on Sunday night...improvement!
This has the potential to be big. Looking forward to it.
Should be fun!
Hope it turns out better than the “Half-Hour News Hour”...
Gutfeld could be Fox’s answer to Jon Stewart.
I was wondering if he had been ‘properly’ trained to report the news as our president said it should be.
Gutfeld is a liberaltarian, not a conservative. He is absolutely unreliable and unserious. A total lightweight in sneakers.
Yes it is.
Sunday night at 10.....not week night
Gutfeld is a liberaltarian, not a conservative. He is absolutely unreliable and unserious. A total lightweight in sneakers.
That is not a bad thing.
COULD BE good.. if it’s edgy....
Comedy sketches of HELLary accepting BRIBES would be good..
Jeb Bush parodied as Jethro Clampett would be another..
Boehner and McConnell DWARF YES MEN to Obama would be cool..
Kerry negotiating with Iranian demagogues parodying PeeWee Herman would work..
Karl Rove as a stealth SPY for Chris Matthews wearing an Obama Hat both meeting in a Political Porn Store... fuunnnny..
BUT.. probably will be WAY watered down “edgy”.....
Hopefully sending him back to remedial school. I’m convinced Hannity is our Ed Schultz
Au contraire. He may be a libertarian, but he is very stout on national defense and closing of the borders.
You may think his offbeat humor makes him a lightweight, but he obliterates liberal cliches, and his little essays on The Five are cleverly satiric, sardonic, hard hitting, and priceless.
You don’t give the guy enough credit. Gutfeld’s humor is needed to penetrate the numbskulls of the low information crowd.
They should have put him on at 5:00 instead of The Five, which is absolutely horrible.
As long as he po’s ø....
Didn’t they try this once before and it failed?
