Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), a likely 2016 presidential candidate, faced off against a hostile college student on Wednesday.
The student, identified in reports as 19-year-old Ivy Ziedrich, introduced herself as a young Democrat attending the University of Nevada, Reno.
She quickly moved on to accuse Bush's brother, former President George W. Bush, of laying the groundwork for the rise of the Islamic State jihadist group (also known as ISIS). Ziedrich argued that the US didn't do enough to take care of former Iraqi soldiers after Geroge W. Bush invaded Iraq in 2003.
"The threat of ISIS was created by the Iraqi Coalition Authority which ousted the entire government of Iraq. It was when 30,000 individuals who were part of the Iraqi military ... were forced out. They had no employment. They had no income. Yet they were left with access to all of the same arms and weapons," Ziedrich said. "Your brother created ISIS."
Jeb Bush initially wasn't quite sure how to respond.
"Is that a question?" he asked.
"You dont need to be pedantic to me, sir," she replied.

That being said i will never get my vote.
Neither will the amnesty loving jebster.
I totally understand that! Going back to my WW II analogy, to this day it bothers me so many German soldiers were let off so lightly. Those Germans who gave the actual commands in all those massacres, in Greece, in France, in Russia...most of them were not even charged.
Eisenhower evidently thought it served the greater good to let those men off, and focus on building a peaceful and allied Germany. Was he right? I guess so, but the survivors would probably say otherwise.
What part of his answer was wrong? You’ve said countless times he erred but you never have shown where he wrong. Thanks for playing.
I suspect there was another component of the military that we didn’t think to address. It’s one of Islamic sect? Was the military predominantly one brand of Islam over another?
It could be likely that disbanding the military may have been in part due to them being exclusively from Hussein’s brand of Islam.
No again. Obama created ISIS by leaving.
He’s had since ‘89 to prepare.
OK, FWIW, I’m just a country boy in Southeast Texas, but, had I been in Jebbie’s shoes I would have said: “Young lady, if you wouldn’t make statements like that, people wouldn’t know just how ignorant you really are.” AND KEEP WALKING.
I don’t like Bush, won’t endorse him, won’t vote for him.
But if you read the full article it sure looks like he gave a correct (or at least partially correct) answer: that the pullback from Iraq ordered by Obama is really to blame.
He even accused the little girl of trying to rewrite history.
“You don’t need to be pedantic to me, sir,” she replied.
Jebbie? Pedantic?? Ha ha.
I see the little plant used a big word.
Good point. Perhaps the best thing that could have been done is to simply follow MacArthur's old saying: "Never get involved in a land war in Asia."
Now here's where I might get into trouble. It could be that Slow Joe Biden was right after all! His response to the 9/11 attacks was this. Bomb them relentlessly from offshore.
Well, if a guy is invading other nations and voicing support for terrorist action against the U. S., and an attack takes place, I think MacArtrhur might revise his opinion.
As for bombing from distance, I’m not sure why we would attack citizens that were being abused by Hussein.
This was going to be a boots on the ground operation, if it was to be an operation at all.
Rush was just talking about this. Didn’t say his answer was bad, but should have added that ISIS started in Syria with some of the guys Obama and Hilary were helping overthrow Assad.
What Rush just said.
