Abram Wade Pete Franklin, 29, of Hattiesburg has been arrested in connection to the deaths of two Hattiesburg police officers.
HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A fifth suspect has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of two Hattiesburg police officers last Saturday. Agents of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) have charged Abram Wade Pete Franklin, 29, of Hattiesburg.
Information developed during the continuing investigation of the killing of Hattiesburg police officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate led to obstruction of justice charges against Franklin.
Franklin is being held in the Forrest County Jail awaiting his initial appearance in justice court.
This suspect is not one of the two persons of interest authorities announced they were looking for Tuesday night.
Tangled web ,just keeps getting more tangled.
Strap the bastard to the chair and pull the lever
Drug empire thing I think. Hattiesburg has around 48,000 residents, and you can figure that there’s five-percent of that crowd buying something of an illegal nature on a weekly basis. No other significant town/drug empire around for at least fifty miles. My humble guess is that they had a fair amount of investment (drug shipment) in the vehicle and could not afford some cop searching the vehicle.
Horrid.
He’s another THUG.
They should add Obummer and Holder.
Note to the Jacks: SHUT OFF YOUR PHONE if you plan to kill the cops...it’s do a lot more than you think to help the ‘pigs’.
This is turning into a really big story the media is NOT covering. I’ve been telling friends, there is NO way BOTH police would have been killed without return fire injuring or killing at least one of the perps in the vehicle with TWO policemen there. It had to have been an ambush of some kind and more people and another vehicle are involved. The media is NOT covering this. This is major.
“......theres five-percent of that crowd buying something of an illegal nature on a weekly basis”............
Really? Five percent? You counting just the street rats on one corner or the entire city? There has to be one hell of a lot more than five-percent.
