I decided to do a search using the terms...train hit..... by...

my results included nothing along the lines of any projectile..

train hit by lightning
train hit by tornado
hit by train video
woman hit by train
man hit by train
person hit by train
train hit car
train hit songs

apparently this is not a common sort of event.

if we put that together with the coincidental timing of one train Being Hit by a Projectile and another derailing and crashing on the same tracks...”chances are pretty good that there was foul play

I do not know how much deficit the trains operate under but they are highly subsidized and another Socialists failure.

My take at this point: the train was going way too fast and went straight where the tracks go left. The engine went to the left of the catenary pole, the first car went through the pole, both the car and the pole becoming mangled, and the rest of the train went to the right of the pole.

Normally, those Budd cars would remain intact, but at very high speed, nothing is normal.
