When I was young, the Catholic Church was Christian.

This Pope has embarked on a path that is dangerous for the church.
Getting involved in leftist political causes is a bad decision for several reasons, not the least of which is that it is divisive within the church.

Not all Catholics are leftist radicals or supporters of muslim cutthroats. Most church goers don’t go to church to support leftist causes.

It is easy for the church, or anyone else, to become involved - tyrants, leftists and radicals are always happy to have help pushing their agenda.

But it is much more difficult to drop support or go back to being non-political.

Once you support them there is no end to their demands and they will expect your support as an ally in everything they do.

I thought the church had learned something from their experience with Hitler 75 years ago but if so, this Pope seems to have forgotten it.

There are no Palatines, there never have been...

In the Bible, it warns of the Philistines....they were a waring group and people were warned to be careful of them...

Where this ‘palatine’ thing comes from is from man, not God...

If this pope: “Peter the Roman” wants to go down that road, then he'll answer to a much greater power....

Jesus warned us, saying many will “will betray one another, and will hate one another.” We hear all kinds of warnings about how evil the world is and will become. We need to hear the warnings about how corruption will attack Christians from inside the church. We are in for dark times, both in the Catholic and Protestant churches.

The Romans named it Palaestina after crushing the Shimon Bar Kokhba revolt around the year, 132. The Romans did so for the purpose of erasing Jewish identity from the country (previously called Judea) and trying to own it. The Romans continue to propagandize and use diplomats to do the same.

On ownership of Jerusalem, Israel and who will be allowed to live there.

Isaiah 43:11

Zechariah 14:9

And there’s been no change in that promise or any other policy.

Malachi 3:6

Anyone who rebels against that is the worst kind of rebel.

If they have a problem with the borders of the land given to Israel, they have a problem with the One who gave it.

Good luck with that. They won’t come to good ends.

That’s nice.

But according to Shariah law, non-Muslims can not sit in judgement of the Believers.

I suppose I might get flamed for this (oh well I’m about to hop in my car for a 2 hour commute home) but:

Isn’t it better for the Vatican to have diplomatic relations with a (yet unformed) Palestinian “state” than the known terrorist organization called the “PLO”? I would think such a switch would be applauded.

The Vatican is ceasing diplomatic ties with the PLO and establishing new ties with a (now) non-existent state. This means the Vatican no longer recognizes the pLO as anything worth recognizing and, in addition, hasn’t recognized anything exists as far as the Palestinjan “state” is concerned because the Palestinian “state” doesn’t exist yet!

But maybe I’m missing something. I’ll read the flamage when I get home.

The treaty, which was finalized Wednesday but still has to be signed, makes clear that the Holy See has switched its diplomatic relations from the Palestinian Liberation Organization to the state of Palestine.

What a relief. Surely this means Rome now supports Israel's right to the land it once had and sovereignty over Jerusalem.

Pope Francis is to the Catholic Church what President Obama is to the United States. A leader that in his heart hates what he leads and does his best to undermine it.

Wow, this poor pope is mistranslated all the time in to some kind of socialist hack.

Isn’t it weird?
