It’s highly significant that Jesus is responding to Judas in this passage.
[Jhn 12:3-7 KJV] 3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. 4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s [son], which should betray him, 5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. 7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
Obama is directly and explicitly disagreeing with Jesus and agreeing with Judas.
Judas was a thief, you know. Such as those who take their cut of the ‘poverty’s purse’.
I was taught during my social work course that the business was not designed to help the poor but keep clients or we’d loose our jobs. Changed course then and there.
Judas had the decency to go out and hang himself. Jus'sayin'!
