Years ago, while driving me back to college, my mom got a flat in the worst neighborhood of North Philly.
My father who was with us was dying of cancer and too weak to help, so my mom and I got the jack out and started to change it, when three black teens stopped their car, and offered to help. They changed the tire and left, after refusing a tip.
So stop making racial stereotyping.
I should note we were not suburbanites who trembled at the sight of three black teens, but inner city ethnics who treated them like we treated anyone.
Yeah. Those never work.
And Liberals never do it, so we should look to them as role models.
Grew up in south (Spanish) Harlem Got shot at in the desert by scuds from Hussein hisself working with all manner of racist and non racist Americans Got caught on the road in dicey scenarios and broke down and fixed flats in more asking for it situations than of ever want my family to know
Breaking down on the highway with my family is not something I’m going to advise my kids to do by setting example, depending on strangers who may help Us and may kill us
You want to be a racist about it, go ahead weird
Just sayin'.
I appreciate your comment, but I think it was addressed to the wrong person.
I have observed we definitely do have a problem on FR with racially offensive comments going unchecked.

But stereotypes about suburbanites are Ok.
I agree - there are some good people in every group. I had Hipanic guy pick me up on the 101 one night in a pouring rain storm. Had his whole extended family in the car but made room for me. I’ve returned the favor by picking up people on 14 in stopped cars. Usually cooks trying to get to work - they told me to come in for a free meal as well.
