You would essentially start a civil war in each community of the United States.

If you think that would result in peace and prosperity, you didn’t learn much from Lebanon, Kosovo, and other places before the military swooped in and cleaned them up.

Do you want the military to have to operate on our city streets? You do realize things would get very sloppy when the military began to operate in our towns right?

They would see both waring parties as the bad guys, not just one.

I'd take my chances on the good guys with hunting rifles and DD-214s outgunning and out-strategizing the guys with sideways nines, pants around their ankles, and the tactical sense of-- well, just about anybody the British met in Africa up to 1880 or so. And it ain't about one "race" or another...the biggest group we'd meet around here are LKs and MS-13.

Not to mention outnumbering. We'd run out of thugs before we ran out of ammo.

As for the military? Well frankly, again, there are a lot more ex-military than military, and that's just the beginning of that story.

Of course, getting the PD to quit en masse is the sine qua non of this whole mental exercise, and I don't see that happening absent a lot of other stuff going absolutely to $#!+, including but not limited to the inability of the gov to write non-rebounding paychecks.
