Six Marines Missing in Nepal Quake Zone: US Military Tuesday, 12 May 2015 01:55 PM
A U.S. Marine Corps helicopter involved in disaster relief efforts in Nepal was declared missing on Tuesday while working in the vicinity of Charikot village, a spokesman for U.S. Pacific Command said.
Army Major David Eastburn, the spokesman, said U.S. military personnel were responding to the disappearance of the UH-1 Huey helicopter and the incident was under investigation. Eastburn said it was not immediately clear how many people may have been aboard the helicopter when it was declared missing.

Been involved with 6 auto-rotations in my 24 year service career.....some violent busted tail boom and skids collapsed an some pucker factor high ride and walk away landings....... Prayers these Marines are sitting in the shade unharmed waiting for a ride home.......UH-1 is and was a damn good platform.
