Trey is Ineffectual.He had some hearings. You were 'informed' because of that.
He is having more hearings, with people who wouldn't appear before. His job is to investigate. We don't have all the answers yet, so he is continuing the investigation.
How is that 'ineffectual' ? He is not a 'god' who can just wish Obama or Hillary into 'hell' or prison.

Yes, too many FReepers have jumped on the bash Trey Gowdy bandwagon because Hillary and Obama aren't in jail yet.
These investigations take time, patience and dedication to the issues at hand.
When Gowdy does present compelling evidence of wrongdoing, which I believe he will, watch them jump right back on the "Oh, yeah, I knew Trey Gowdy was a good guy" bandwagon.
