Balony!
Cruz took the high road.
Nicely done.
I think it’s astute and it shows that Cruz doesn’t mind taking on these liberals with an agenda because he outfoxes them every time. He’s not some dummy from Missouri or Indiana. He can’t be tripped up, he spars with Supreme Court justices—and wins. So, what he’s really saying here is, “Mark was stupid enough to try that leftist gotcha game with me, and he got beat up and now he knows better. I feel for the guy. Think about that, Katie Couric.”
No, you save that for your political opponent...
The press still have barrels of font ink...
Let the press hang themselves with their own words...
Ted Cruz is a gracious guy. Mark Halperin is a racist twerp.
No. Too often people say they’re sorry when what they’re really trying to do is change your mind. Just be honest with the guy. “You should apologize sir. Your questions were offensive and I will not , in the future, allow you any more interviews. And if Cruz does win the presidency he should pull Halperin’s White House Press Pass, if he has one and in end Halperin will end up doing stories about lost dogs or something.
No. Ted needs ALL the media to gingerly step up and try to throw awkward pitches that he hits out of the park for everyone to see.
Nicely played by Cruz. Political junkies will recognize his use of “silly” as cutting. Halperin like most journalists wants to be perceived as deep and heavy, so this will be painful to him. Meanwhile Joe Blow on the street just sees Cruz as being laid back. What Cruz is showing is that shrewdness works. You don’t have to be cranked to 11 all the time.
Reminds me of MD Governor Hogan talking at a press conference about how the mayor of Baltimore "finally" asked for the National Guard ...
Thats how you stick the knife in and twist it, while being completely classy.
Bad way to go through life...
And confusing rhetoric with actions that actually wins votes. Big difference between the two.

He’s a big boy, he can handle it.
I know who I want to vote for.

Well put.
Cruz was excellent in the way he maintained his composure and his identity.
Ted Cruz is in the big leagues and doesn’t even consider stooping down to the level of so-called journalists or their immature little league tactics.
He truly is presidential material, not that that interview proved anything other than the fact that he’s not impressed or affected by their attempt at distracting him.
Sorry. I meant Halperin. I’m leaning towards Cruz.
Cruz is a MENSCH.
Haperin is a SCHMUGGEGEH.
