Cold snaps linger despite climate change

I remember all the ‘scientific’ papers from the 70’s predicting global cooling. I was 10, but remember fearing an ice age. In just 40 years - we’ve gone from global cooling to warming? Hardly within the scope of the hundreds of years it really takes for the earth’s climate to change.

C’mon, get with the pogrom. Global warming causes the Earth to both heat up and cool down and it is all YOUR fault! Saint Albert of Gore, the patron saint of all things ‘progressive’ (AGW, internet, etc.), despite taking private jets all over the world, well, his additions to glowball warming are all righteous. You, being part of the vast right wing conspiracy, are not righteous and your carbon emissions must stop! < /extreme sarc>

I remember that as well. A new "ice age" was coming if we didn't submit to the will of the greenie liberals. Hehehe.
I saw a post somewhere a few days or so ago that summed it up for me. Something to the effect of "And all this from people who can't predict the weather accurately a few days in advance". d:^)
