Carson seems a little too flaky for prime time.

Maybe in a few years, but his time isn't now.

Right. He should have run for Senate in Maryland or Michigan but he’s not ready for the presidency. That’s a curse of the GOP. There are a lot of good candidates who should run for state office but instead immediately go for the grand prize with no true experience.

In a few years he’ll be older than Hill is—with still no political experience.

He’s the classic case of a guy who wants to transfer to politics from another field at too high a level.

Like Herman Cain, he could have done better running for Congress to start.

But these guys, as they enter their seventh decade are in a hurry and only are interested in being at the top.

Too bad.

Carson seems a little too flaky for prime time.

Carson Herman Cain minus the sexual harassment scandals - an obviously smart and capable person with zero qualifications for the highest office in the land and zero chances of winning. With their complete lack of political experience and their often bizarre public statements, neither one of them would even be a blip on the GOP radar screens as plausible candidates if it weren't for a certain type of GOPer bending over backwards to prove to the world how non-racist and inclusive they are.

His time ain't ever. If he were serious, he would've run for US Senate, or at least the HOR, last election.

He seems more like a foil to draw conservative blacks away from viable conservative candidates.

I think he means well, but he is ignorant of some basic conservative principles.
