Several witnesses? There were media reports of one witness, who was in the other side of the van (and thus could not even see Gray), who speculated that he was trying to hurt himself. Who are the other “several” witnesses?
One witness, who later recanted.
If he was high on something, self-inflicted injuries should not be surprising.
