I have a feeling that Redford has a much bigger “carbon footprint” than you and I combined. Or bigger than 100 people combined. These wealthy liberal do gooders are far more polluting than the rest of us. All in pursuit of saving the planet and all that.

Off topic, but can someone explain the idea of carbon credits? I don’t get it. It sounds to me that as long as you buy carbon credits, you can still belch out all the offending carbon and pollution you did previously. Rather than reducing your polluting output. Am I right in understanding this?? As long as you buy carbon credits you can still do whatever the heck you want???

carbon credits - analogous to the old practice of purchasing indulgences from the medieval Church. And just as corrupt.

But that comparison is lost on Climate Scientologists.

Carbon credits are like paying somebody else to NOT eat so you can eat more. Or something. Sure makes the ultra rich libs feel better about saving the erf. Oh, and it used to help algore make lots and lots of $$$$. Not sure, but I thought (danger, danger) that his carbon credit exchange scam was failing or did fail. I’m sure he still made mucho dinero off the scam.

Exactly. If they really believed what they say, they would lead by example. The would live in modest houses, fly coach, wear recycled clothes etc. But they obviously, really don't believe that malarkey.
