Looks like once again splintering of the various components of the conservative base voter. This is probably going to hurt Cruz.

No impact on Sen. Cruz, except perhaps a fraction
of his supporters that eat road kill.

Maybe Huckabee can get another 50 Million from the teachers unions. Draining their coffers will hurt the (other) Democrats.

I hear they will be holding the Republican debates at the Houston Astrodome.
Won’t be any room for an audience, there will be barely enough for the candidates.

Nope. Still voting for, volunteering for, and sending money to the Cruz campaign.
I know who I want to vote for, and it ain't Huck.

I have no problem with a debate among a bunch of republicans, conservatives and libertarians about who best will represent me. It beats the hell out of anointment.

You know, I don’t really think Huckabee is going to make much of an impact. Many of the social conservatives have already been impressed with Cruz and in the interest of winning the election, are not going to want to waste their votes on Huck.
I called my best friend in Arkansas this morning and asked how folks were feeling about Huck’s announcement and she said,
“Well, WHOOPEE DANG DO!”

Great another one who has no hope of winning but will split the votes, thus letting Bush in.

They will need to take the top five or six in a reliable poll, if thats possible, and allow them to debate. The rest will need to get out.
