Clearly a cop hating RINO
Why the need to speculate in these circumstances?
The defense counsel doesn’t necessarily have to explain how it happened but just that it didn’t happen the way that the prosecution says it did.
Because he’s book-smart and street stupid?
Another one bites the dust!
I would submit that a review of the matter by a highly regarded neurosurgeon qualifies as slightly more than, “speculation.” It may be opinion, but it is certainly a highly educated opinion formed by years and years of experience, and probably some of the most qualified commentary on the issue to date.
Clearly the cops are out of control.
There is more than one bad cop in the world. And there is more than one good cop. The problem is the system punishes the good cops for turning in the bad ones—making most of them bad cops or quasi bad cops.
They need a true outside police review panel (not internal affairs). They all need to wear body cams & mics. Cops need to get twice the maximum penalty for any crimes they commit while on duty or acting in a police capacity.
Carson has seen the autopsy report?
No, I would take this man’s word on medicine. Government, I have my doubts about him. He is one of the great living doctors.
There are scores of other possibilities other than the prosecution theory that the mean racist police caused them either by beating or neglect.
The fact that Dr. Carson sees the need to even comment at this point shows he is not ready for prime time.
Nobody said he got the injury by rolling around. The medical examiner said the injury was consistent with a bolt on the back of the van. Why is Carson commenting on the injuries when he hasn’t seen the autopsy?
Because he’s smart enough not to break his own neck he assumes everyone is just as smart.
Sorry Doc., some people really are that stupid.
Just ask people who have accidently broken their own necks while trying to “crack” their necks.
A lot of people think Dr Carson is such a good doctor that he should be president.
But I am not one of them.
He's just another poser!
Agree. It doesn't matter what his qualifications are - he-wasn't-there and nothing good can come from guessing at this point.
Why does he feel compelled to comment at all?
It sounds like Carson’s trying to refute the Prosecutors statement that the injury was the result of Gray not having a seatbelt on in the van. But in doing so he’s cast even more suspicion on the police. If Gray was walking before the arrest and he was injured in police custody and the injury wasn’t the result of not having a seatbelt on then what did the cops do to sever his spine, and where and how did they do it?
Was he present at the autopsy? Has he been supplied with the autopsy report? What, then, is the basis for his speculation?
He speculates about "rolling around" - presuming a fact not in evidence.
