“an Ilyushin cargo plane which an airport worker said was used to transport food and supplies”
Translation: It was a Russian plane being used to deliver weapons.
Thanks! I was wondering.
Strange times when the Saudi’s are kicking ass and taking names. Unlike us, they don’t take crap on their borders.
ho-hum, why should I care about a civil war 5000 miles away......
Should Saudi Military Policy directed Saudi Arabian Aircraft manned by men from non-Muslim nations fly bombing missions. The Saudis themselves are rather prone to a life of luxury and would not make good warriors.
You should care because the Iranians are positioning themselves to close the Straits of Hormuz and the entrance to the Red Sea/Suez Canal, severely restricting a huge portion of the world’s oil supply. And, closing these 2 waterways will cripple the export capabilities and economic livelihoods of their Sunni foes such as Kuwait, KSA, Oman, Yemen, UAE and Qatar all of whom are US allies (some more than others). The ability to control a significant part of the world oil supply coupled with nuclear weapons capability amounts to world class blackmail.
