It was Winston Churchill who supposedly said, "All babies look like me." He was - in the main - correct.
Mr. niteowl77
It’s nice the way they have the names of both Charles and Diana, the baby’s maternal grandparents, in the name. Classy and subtle.
She’ll be fighting radical ISlamists at the gates of Buckingham Palace soon enough.
We do not control where we are born..
But we do have a bit to say about whence we exiteth.
Good luck, Little Gal.
Surprise that there haven’t been any complaints that the names aren’t “inclusive” enough, like Aisha, or Muhammad.
A beautiful baby girl!
She is gorgeous. The hat she is wearing is handmade, and I wonder by whom.
I am so happy for them....a beautiful and healthy baby...no greater joy. A wonderful remembrance of Diana, who would have found such happiness in her grandchildren. Yes, this is a special baby.
FWIW, I think Kate Middleton is one of the most attractive women in the world...and classy too!
But there is happiness in the birth of any new baby, regardless of the child's station. For that reason, I care.
Remind us again why you dropped in to this thread? You said it yourself you don't care, so what's your deal? You just lonely this afternoon and need some attention?......Sheesh!
That really is a pretty baby. My Daughter was just a little bit prettier but still she is going to be a looker.
Awww she looks like her daddy when he was a baby. Glad they gave her a name with Diana, in remembrance of her grandmother. Diana would have been thrilled over her grand-babies.
Aw, she is sweet! I can see a bit of daddy in her face.
It’s a fine name, I love Charlotte and considered it for my own daughter since my father’s name was Charles. ( my dad also was born on the same day as Queen Elizabeth of which he was inordinately proud).
Thanks for posting this news.
I’m very disappointed. I had hoped she would be named Nannette, or maybe Linda.
Besides what's been posted already in this thread, I should also remind you that responding to a thread takes it to the top of the the Comments tab, which of course tracks the latest comments. (It's a bit like this site's equivalent of bumping on other forums.)
I am not posting here in order to promote this thread, but my post will take this thread to the top of the Comments tab for a little while and will almost certainly add to the number of thread views. The same is true about posting about not caring--not to mention the natural responses asking why someone who supposedly doesn't care about a subject should take the effort to write a post about it.
Well I care about all babies.
I do, too. Every single one.
“Well I care about all babies.”
Me too I love babies. A lifetime of experience in only a few days, weeks, months. Always the center of attention. Open to new ideas. They are enthusiats. I love how a baby will throw away an empty bottle, with full disdain of its uselessness. I love babies, even the crying doesn’t bother me too much.
“Shell be fighting radical ISlamists at the gates of Buckingham Palace soon enough.”
Hopefully she’ll kick their *ss.
I wonder what the odds of her being named Kan’esha were.
“I think Kate Middleton is one of the most attractive women in the world...and classy too! “
I swear that woman is a saint! I just love her. Don’t know if you watched the wedding, but if you haven’t you need to check out the sis’s dress (just google “pippa middleton dress” I’m sure you’ll get it).
I never had a sister, but I”m pretty sure if I did I’d never let her look THAT GOOD at MY wedding, even if I was likely to end up the Queen of England (literally!).
And the groom looked phenomenal too, in his red military tunic or whatever you call it. You’ve never seen nothing like it, where the bride is the 3rd most fancily dressed member of a wedding party.
My Irish grandmother rolls in her grave, but I LOVE Kate Middleton.
