Oh there’s LOTS of discipline. Thats the problem! Locked to the grid with ZERO manmade groove. Just at best, a preset on a sequencer/daw; or an MPC ‘groove’ or swing algo. Which is why it sounds so amateur and soulless a lot of the time.
I was referring more to the discipline it takes to learn about movement and structure when creating music.
