Baltimore Riots As Criminal Culture Writ Large By Edward Hudgins
The rioting in Baltimore represents criminal culture writ large. It is what happens every day on a smaller scale in poor minority communities: theft, vandalism, and violence.
The flames in Baltimore hideously illuminate the fact that the culture of the welfare state creates the criminals and rioters that plague this city in my native state.
The cycle of poverty and violence
The ostensive cause of the riots was outrage at the death of Freddie Gray, a young black drug dealer with a long rap sheet, whose spine was injured when he was arrested.
Let me be clear that whatever the outcome of the investigation into this particular case, police overreaction is a real problem nationwide. And yes, most of those in Baltimore who protested excessive police force were peaceful. And also many responsible black community leaders were in the streets urging those bent on destruction to stop. Especially heartbreaking were Pastor Donte Hickman’s efforts to stop the violence as the senior and community center that his group was constructing burned to the ground. And yes, poverty and a lack of economic opportunities create frustration and a sense of impotence. And yes, the failed schools do not prepare young people for jobs. And yes, these factors contribute to inner-city crime.
The rioting was followed by anguished politicians, community leaders, and citizens coming together to declare that such violence does not represent the community and must stop now, and that the underlying causes must be dealt with.
But we see on a smaller scale such sad scenes of crime and violence all the time in Baltimore and other cities across the country. A child is killed…

He lost me at “police overreaction is a problem nationwide”. Another pansy attempt to be fair by completely ignoring the real problem. Nobody dares to say what the real problem is.
Blacks want things to change so they elect democrats..
But their situation gets worse and they want things to change so they elect more democrats.
Their situation continues to get worse and they demand change so they elect more democrats again.
But things don’t change so they riot in the streets and burn down their own neighborhoods.
Then they elect more democrats.
They are puzzled why their lives get worse.
After all,they keep voting the ‘right’ way and electing democrats who promise change.
Electing Dems or Republicans has nothing to do with their problems. It’s themselves.
OK. Gangs are responsible for how many murders?
Why do they get praised, hugs and apologies for the T-word?

And now you have generations living off of entitlements who have no clue of the value of hard work, career planning, being self-sufficient and contributing to community and society and having some self-respect, honesty, integrity, etc. Add to that the fast-track to big bucks by becoming prima donna professional NBA or NFL stars or doing rap and hip-hop - or just good old gangs and drug dealing and the entitlement scam. What value is a normal, responsible life? That’s boring man! And it’s too much work. Gibsmedat is so much more rewarding.

Democratic hard left control of Baltimore is the root causes of the riots and racial division in spite that all the power is in the hand of Black democrats for several generations.
Baltimore Mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, ordered the police: to “stand down” “LET THEM LOOT. IT’ S ONLY PROPERTY”. We saw hell explode after the Black democratic mayor gave the thugs carte blanche to destroy the city. The police weren’t allowed to defend the city. More than 100 officers were injured, some seriously.
Why the Baltimore riots, looting and destruction of their own Black neighborhoods? Did the Blacks doubted for a moment that the Black establishment in control of Baltimore will fail to condemn the officers to the highest penalty allowed by Law? Four of the six accused officers are the ones charged with manslaughter. Of those 4, three are Blacks and one is White. Their heads will be presented to the mobs in a silver plate to placate the rabble of noisy angry thugs.
Facts are irrelevant for Anarchists, Communists, professionals agitators and “community organizers” followers of Marxist Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” strategy.
Obama is the most racist and divisive president in our history. Obama does not want unity. He wants to keep the country as polarized and disoriented as possible. Obama has been inflaming racial tension since he took power. According Alinisky’s tactics adopted by Obama, change has to be brought through relentless agitation and “trouble making” of a kind that radically disrupts society as it is.
David Horowitz' excellent recently published pamphlet "Barack Obama's Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model" offers keen insights into Alinsky and what it might mean when Alinsky followers are in positions of power. The conclusions he reaches are not pleasant but are borne out by current events, public utterances of the president, his history, and the work of Alinsky himself.
What we are seeing is the most radical President in our country’s history who is unable to govern because governing is not his purpose. The Alinskyite, ever the destroyer of institutions, cannot govern because governments and societies are built upon institutions.
We wonder if Baltimore’s schools are forming thugs instead of educating the students for a fruitful and productive life? In Baltimore, taxpayers are currently spending $16,578 per year for each pupil in the city’s public schools. Not only is this 48% more than the national average of $10,608, but it’s more than any other country on the face of the earth spends on public education.
Nationwide according to the FBI in 2011, 193 blacks were killed by whites, 448 White killed by Blacks while 2,447 blacks were killed by blacks. That is 2.3 times more whites killed by blacks than the other way around despite the fact that there’s six times as many whites in this country.
Do Black lives really matter? How many of the parents of Blacks murdered by Blacks received a call of Obama or send his personal representative to the funeral? Did our condolences in chief has ever called the parents of so many Whites killed by Blacks?

Not holding back one bit. Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke says O is “quietly enjoying” what’s going on in Baltimore because he’s a ‘promoter of division’ and has ‘benefitted politically’ from ‘dividing’ people.
Sheriff Clarke points out all the times President Obama has pitted one group of Americans against another. He also questions why Obama didn’t come out and speak about the Baltimore riots earlier. He was interviewed here on the Mark Levin Show

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke (D) blasted “failed liberal government policies” for miring people in cities like Baltimore in “generational poverty” and argued that change in Baltimore “needs to start in the politics, the failed liberal Democrat policies” on Wednesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.
No room in the modern democrat party for anyone like Scoop Jackson or Moynihan.
If they cannot pass the democrats ultra-left litmus test they are not welcome.
Heck - the way things are today, even John F, Kennedy wouldn't be allowed in the democrat party - and he sure wouldn't be their pick for president.
Black popular culture is criminal culture and one of “entitled” victims. Excuses, excuses, excuses — that’s all we hear from blacks. Nowhere to be heard are terms like responsibility and accountability, morality [assumes positive morals], truth and justice [and not the mindset of the racist mob]. Blacks need to clean up their own messes they’ve created by becoming slaves to white liberal “progressive” culture and dogma. How likely is that change — well, I’m not holding my breath for change any time soon.
Pat Moynihan was one of the few Democrats I really liked. He told it like it is concerning dumbing down deviancy. Also I got in trouble with liberals in the 1970s as U.N. ambassador for calling Idi Amin a savage, which he was. I read a book by Moynihan on school entitled “A Dangerous Place” about his time at the U.N. with the representatives of communist and other thug governments.
Hey, I hear that liberal Democrats want to change the name of the Richard Russell Senate Office Building because Russell was a segregationist racist Democrats and the Dems don’t want to be reminded of that. So how about the Moynihan Building so the Dems can be reminded that they are the ones now making deviancy the norm and sucking up to thug regimes?
