The charges against six Baltimore Police officers in the case of a death caused by an alleged “80 percent severed” spine may go too far, and some are likely to be dismissed by a judge and/or fail if there is ever a trial, says public interest law professor John Banzhaf, because of at least two important factors: causation and divided responsibility. --snip-- Since the statement of probable cause read by Baltimore lead prosecutor Marilyn J. The badgelickers should love this idiot woman. I have a feeling the cops are going to skate on most or all the charges while the jury gets the blame and she becomes governor.
That’s been my impression also. The woman was far too prejudiced in her statements, she should have just stopped after discussing the charges. Not only the potential for overcharges reduction but prosecutorial bias and the threats for violence if anyone is acquitted . . .

If any trail goes outside of Baltimore, chances are great that it will either be if not thrown out, charges reduced.

She wildly overcharged them and then she put a period on it with the “Our time is now” that is a hard left democrat hashtag on twitter.
Remember back when OJ was cleared in court, blacks in unison cheered in jubilation that he beat the charges of killing the white folks. They couldn’t contain their glee. What do you suppose would be their reaction if these cops beat these charges, and white people rejoiced in jubilation?

someone said something about Grey having back surgery sometime prior to the arrest, but I’m not sure if they’re confusing the surgery he had the day of his arrest (and a week before his death) with something else? anyone know?
There is another comparison. On the day he was acquitted, radio hosts John, and Ken, asked people to drive with their headlights on as a sign of protest. There were a lot of people driving around southern California with their headlights on. So, the civilized residents of Los Angeles were able to carry out a protest, and nothing got looted, or burned.

Not reading the article but, several friends are pissed at me for suggesting Murder and Depraved are over charging.
I suspect the defendant charged with depraved murder gets off and the others are found guilty for the easier charges...
I would have liked to had worked for that Sheriff.
