San Francisco is getting ready to raise its minimum wage to $12.25 an hour, a rate that will have the city joining Oakland as the locales with the nation's highest legally mandated pay for non-salaried workers.
San Francisco's new minimum is set to go into effect on Friday. It was approved by voters as part of an initiative that will increase the minimum wage to $15 in 2018.

Would be interesting to see if they did a study. I do know that when I go to McDonald’s, I see 20-30 workers like I did back 30 years ago so not sure if jobs are really gone or not.

is that a threat? is it against the rules to be conservative and think (maybe wrongly) about issues sometimes. whatever happens, happens. I love FR but wont cr or bug to someone I don’t know.

Of course Free Market is the best way to arrive at a wage. I have a soft heart though, it is one of my weaknesses.
My mind has been changed before on FR by cohesive, well though out arguments.
Next time you disagree with me, I would much more appreciate something along the lines of
“Mark, are you crazy?? you’re wrong and these are the reasons” :)
