A large group of black teens rampaged through Charleston neighborhoods, targeting innocent people early Sunday.
The Post and Courier reported:
As many as 60 teens were roaming Charleston streets attacking pedestrians and drivers early Sunday, witnesses told police dispatchers in 911 calls released Tuesday.
All the teens were black, according to witnesses, and all but one of the people attacked were white. Still, it’s unclear if the attacks were racially motivated or sparked by the unrest in Baltimore, which followed the recent shooting death of Walter Scott, a black man, by a white North Charleston police officer. Terror could be heard in the voices of many of the callers, including a man who called from his car and said he was being blocked by about 50 teens.
“They just smacked my car,” he told the operator. “I’m flooring it in reverse. This is just ridiculous. … I’m getting the hell out of here, man. They just smacked another car.”

Anyway, it is a bit surprising that the news hiders in the Big News oligarchy allowed this to get out.
They call white flight racism.
It won’t matter...sure they’ll be shot dead fast enough, but not until after hundreds of innocent people like that scared girl calling 911 are brutally killed.
It was “mostly peaceful” I’m sure.
Even when other blacks do it.

I don't see the matter being resolved without some tragedy.
It would be nice if everyone would just calm down and do the right thing, but I don't see it happening. Modern Americans are too self centered and too full of ignorance.
Just a legal question: If your car is being attacked and you honk your horn and drive forward over several perps, can you be prosecuted? Does anyone have a DUTY to get the hell out of your way?
This is a coincidental incident. There is no reason for one to conflate it with anything going on elsewhere on this planet.

Charleston has been named America’s most friendly city several times and the most polite and hospitable city in America by various magazines.

Unlike Seattle (and other liberal hell holes) Charleston does not give the right of way to pedestrians. Ya gets in the traffic, ya just might get flattened.

No doubt it was just one of those spooky, Twilight Zone type of coincidences.
That’s a good question. In Florida the pedestrian always has the right of way. But if that pedestrian is attacking you, wouldn’t that change things? Would there be any difference in running them over versus pulling your concealed carry and shooting them?
Lord, that no one else ever have to be in that situation please.

I’m old and frail. I’d have to plead that I feared for my life and was attempting to escape the situation. Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do?
