n addition to grassroots repentance services in many communities the first ever global call for repentance will take place this Thursday April 30 as part of this years National Day of Repentance. The call will be hosted by Australian prayer leaders whose earlier global prayer call for the USA has gone viral. Using media releases and YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=fppeSN1xBn4 they are calling Christians in Australia and other nations to fast and pray for America beginning April 30 for seven days leading up to the National Day of Prayer on May 7. http://www.dayofrepentance1.org/global-support-for-usa-national-day-of-repentance/

What kind of repentance do they have mind?
Repentance from sin?
Or “repentance” from capitalism?
There are kooks everywhere.
I’m pretty sure an Australian fast doesn’t include beer.
S/ staggering around somewhere.
When i read this, there was a small story about Moses that a lot of folks might not remember.
Leader who needed a brother who did not stutter, yes.
Leader who was given the job, and did not seek it, yes.
Leader who was directed and so did thin out followers by the spear.
Every snake, at every level, in every place .....

I believe they were referring to Obama repenting for his sinful behavior.
Beautiful. Thank you to all who pray for our nation! We need it.
All prayers from Down Under are appreciated.
Evil reigns in America today, to our shame.
Have a look at the page, watch the video.

They say nothing but good things about America. The Aussies are simply aligning their “Pray USA 2015” with their own “National Day of Prayer and Fasting” and America’s “National Day of Repentance.”
If you watch the video at the link, they start by talking about how the world is a better place because of America, and to pray that America AND Australia return to our strong Judeo-Christian roots.
This is hardly a slam against America. This is solidarity in Christ.
(FWIW, I’m an American living in Australia.)
you might be right.
I visited the War Memorial while in Yamba, NSW. The Aussies have stood with America in nearly every war we have had including Vietnam where they lost 7500 souls.
The only bad part of AU for me was that I had to leave.
Me and three other navy guys ran into some Aussies in a bar in Bangkok in 1973. When they found out we were in the US Navy they wouldn’t let us pay for another drink.
thx for posting your stuff that’s why i posted this.

yes god bless them. they recognize we are in the same war. but as always we are the leaders. god raise up leaders.
While I agree that Australia has stood with you, I feel I should say that that number is overstated. Australia lost 521 servicemen in Vietnam. My father was one of them. Approximate 3000 more were wounded. Approximately 60,000 served.
We know who our friends are, and who is worth fighting alongside. The US, the UK, and NZ are the top of that list.
Thanks!
