The dean of the law school at the University of the District of Columbia urged students to take part in protests in Baltimore, even offering to defer an exam for those who help people on the street with legal advice.
Dean Shelley Broderick of the David A. Clarke School of Law told students that community and police relations is the civil rights issue of our time, and that law school leaders want students to be part of the energy and commitment of the protests.

Note to self, if you see a UDC Diploma on your lawyer’s wall.....run away as fast as possible.
Does that include burning a CVS pharmacy store and grabbing some free sneakers at the mall?
Man, my college days were much different!
Unless things have changed, unless you are a lawyer (or a student under supervision at a legal clinic), a student can’t give “legal advice”.
Letter from Dean “Shelley”
LOL!
Funny, I didn’t see any protesters or demonstrators in Baltimore. Those are people who march peacefully and hold signs. What I saw was thugs, looters, arsonists, destroyers, all having a good time breaking things and stealing stuff.
STOP HATING OBAMA!
Never heard of this law school, and now I know why.
It would be kind of them to offer their help to the businesses that were attacked/people attacked, but I took a quick read of the school’s Facebook/Twitter and that isn’t happening.
Next month they are having a seminar on how the 2004 Election was stolen from John F. Kerry.

They have a law school???? Whoever is getting their law degree is getting scammed.
I doubt they will help this Pizza Man that the “peaceful” protestors threw lighter fluid on and tried to burn him alive. A hard working guy who serves the neighborhood and Barry/DOJ consider him collateral damage.
He called police. They could not assist him due to the “Peaceful protestors”. Probably the same peacefuls that this Law School wishes to assist.

And their grads are Hillabeast quality.
Maybe she said help she meant to help them burn, loot, or assault whitey.
The next decree will be those that are helping protestors will receive their student loans “gratis” courtesy of the paper printing Fed Govt.
One brave soul took them to task on their Facebook (which I’m sure is run by the students). Needless to say, their “official” response to the man who was EMBARRASSED at his Alma Mater was as expected. They are giving “legal aid” to those arrested for criminal behavior.
I never went to law school, and I can give legal advice. So can you. We just can't charge for it.
lol, indeed, but the BAR, being what it is, gets really ticked off at non-lawyers.
I remember when the gag was lifted and they started advertising on TV. uggg
Working for a private attorney after interning at the County Attorney reminded me of why I did NOT want to work for an attorney. I wrote the pleadings, he just signed off when I could get him to.
One of those schools where you go to learn to weld or paint nails, I take it.
