Jon Stewart started off his interview with ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos by asking how a news organization could spend so much time covering the White House Correspondents’ Dinner while Baltimore was burning just a few miles away. But soon, their discussion turned to another story that has been on the former Clinton White House staffer of late: foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state.
“Are you familiar with the Clintons?” Stewart asked Stephanopoulos, echoing the concerns of potential bias that have been raised by certain Fox News commentators. “Foreign donors that might have given to the Clinton Global Initiative and then there might been favors done at the State Department and it might been to the tune of, I think, some millions of dollars.”
Stephanopoulos, who recently conducted an aggressive interview with Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer on This Week said, “This is a tough one,” noting that the book even states that there is “no direct evidence of action taken on behalf of the donors.”
“But everybody also knows,” he continued, “when those donors give that money… there’s a hope that that’s going to lead to something and that’s what you have to be careful of.”
Stewart more or less dismissed the idea that the donation issue constituted a “scandal” in today’s political environment because Hillary Clinton is openly saying she aims to raise $2 billion. “Now, what does that money buy?” he asked.

What is that money for?
Hillary handlers claim they are doing a shoe string campaign this time, as opposed to the caviar and opulence of the 2008 campaign which was made to look like a coronation from start to losing. Hundreds of thousands was spent just in food platters, more on luxury business space and state of the art equipment.
Now it’s Brooklyn office space and cardboard computer boxes serving as furniture. GET THAT!
Travel? How much luxury travel will be bought if you are doing a gun proof van to move through a 15 hour drive, from NYC to Iowa, and fly back? Weird expensing.
2 Billion. You would have to light a match to a lot of it to use all that money, wouldn’t you?
Likely most of it is spent buying people off or greasing the wheels... you know the ‘fix’ ain’t cheap!

Absolutely, baby. That is exactly right. Hillary wants to be a power broker if nothing else.
The Clintons reportedly, want to wrest back the Democrat party from the Obamas. I think also, they must want to fly high with the Soros types for global adventures, given their focus on vacuuming up huge money from foreign sources.
I’ve always said that Hillary is not really running for POTUS.

Yeah, she wants all the power while breaking the power of everybody else.
Georgie boy will always protect his former employers. He was an operative in the Clinton War Room, for pete’s sake.
