The smoldering tensions between protesters and police in Baltimore flared briefly Tuesday as the battered city fought to recover from a violent night of riots in response to the April 19 death of a black man, Freddie Gray, while he was in police custody.

An American city under a state of emergency because of mass criminal acts by its residents. Something like this used to be considered unbelievable.
The residents are protesting in shock of his spinal issues, due to years of car accidents, injuries, and activity in non-agreement with doctor’s orders.
Notice they haven’t been able to blame it on Whitey yet, otherwise it would lead every story. They have to settle for “police custody”.

I disagree. I grew up near Detroit in 1967 (The Hot Summer) and 1968 (MLKJ death).

While “local” to Baltimore MD, this is - in the end - fully believable.
Black thugs will use any excuse to destroy the legitimate businesses of others.
These scum kill each other day and night in west Baltimore, and east Baltimore, and North Baltimore, without any concern for their black victims. To claim that they give a rats rear end for Freddie Gray is absurd.
Nothing says “I’m here to grieve for Freddie Gray” more than looting toilet paper

Since you were a kid in 1967, then you remember that it was unbelievable before the advent of the Liberals’ “Great Society.” Totally unbelievable before that.
