Yup, that’s the generally accepted expansion of EDC.
Speaking of what you’d put in the trunk... I had ‘fun’ during the LA Riots. This convinced me that the weapon of most utility for such situations is going to be a drum fed semiauto shotgun. Which is why I have my Saiga 12 these days.
Don’t forget to bring extra reloads for the EDC.

I did a Google search, and the first three hits for "EDC" were "Electric Daisy Carnival" #8 was "Electrodesiccation and curettage" which might not be a bad idea, either.

VEPR 12s weren’t affected by the Obama import ban so they’re still available. US production of Saigas is to begin later this year. So you can still get an AK-type shotgun.
And yes, I did buy a bunch of drums for the thing, mostly 12 rounders.
My one is stock I bought online from factory and you seems like did a lot of work to upgrade yours. As for drums I can’t have any magazine over 10 rounds as it is illegal here.

Where is ‘here?’ The Izhmash factory never shipped them to the US (or anywhere else) with anything but metal or polymer furniture and they definitely never shipped with the old AK triangle folding stock. Further, all US import ones have the rearset trigger group to get around the ‘sporting purpose’ import ban.
Additionally, 10 round drums are available and much recommended as they don’t stick nearly as far out of the bottom of the weapon as the 10 round stick mags do.
