I heard one of the MSNBC show hosts saying that some residents are now complaining about how now that the Rite Aid is gone they have no drug store to go to for medicine, that few stores where willing to set up shop there even before this.

A black coworker (college educated) tried to justify the riots to me blaming it on lack of (our $$$) investment in those areas and police murders of blacks without prosecution .

When I told he that they were just hurting themselves he just got madder at me.

The second leg of the Triple Crown (Thoroughbred horse racing’s biggest event) -Preakness Stakes takes place at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore- bet they are already having cancellations. Too bad. It’s normally a big money maker for the city.
