I had a buddy named charlie who was mostly black and worked with me on a college campus, very smart guy, and around the time Obama got elected I asked his opinion on it and he said “ to be honest, I do not really care, he is just another politician, and nothing will change, I then asked him what will not change and he said “most black neighborhood will still be hellholes, they still be killing each other and have done more to hurt themselves than Jim Crow ever did, and quoted one ex member of the KKK who said that in the end we don’t need to kill you N%^&^%&s you will kill yourselves, man he was dead on, I wish I could speak to him about whats going on.
it’s all true. Boycott’s post above is all true. We do not benefit from 15 percent of the country being a disaster. I became embroiled in a race war tonight it felt like. WHAT A SHAME. It is not me.
but driving a cab in those neighborhoods and getting robbed, seeing hundreds of young blacks just hanging around delis and gas stations when car services and MCD’s had signs for workers, it made me desensitized. The prostitution , the drugs, the disregard for life what a shame.
