Which means it is a very real possibility.

Republican Gov stepping up to do what the Democrats are refusing to do.

I like this guy, he is very good. O’Malley would have Ben whining and whetting himself, but what is going on is an indictment of them.

Martial law has a specific legal definition and that is when the civilian courts have ceased to function and people are held, tried and punished by what is essentially a military governor. I can’t think of an instance where that has ever been into practice in the continental US since probably the Civil War.

Even if civilian law enforcement is almost completely overwhelmed the Guard will still seek to turn over anyone they arrest to civilian prosecution.
