Israel may be very concerned if these missile brigades fall into the hands of ISIS, Hamas, etc. Yes, Syria and Assad have been a big concern to Israel for years. But after 4 years of civil war, Assad could easily fall. And then the question is, WHO gets control of Syria’s missiles and WMD’s?
While Iran is the principle threat (to all) in the ME, Iran is supporting and bankrolling the terrorist groups in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, etc. If Israel can be destroyed using these latter groups, Iran does not need to physically attack Israel. Their minions will do it for them.
I think that is why Israel is attacking these missile brigades now.
You summed it up very well, I agree!
“Going after the Little shiite today; go after the Great shiite tomorrow.”
They are BOTH little pieces of Shiite in my opinion.
That pic would make a great recruiting poster!
By doing this, Israel is softening up the world with these actions so that when the “big one” comes...
I bet the jihadi’s in Iran are getting more nervous by the day...And rightfully so...
Somewhere, someone believed that by this countries leadership abandoning Israel, that would make Israel more subdued???
Less dangerous???
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Clever!!!
And I’ve been expecting Israel to move that Golan border a little farther north. Each time they have to school Asshat they should make him pay with land. It’s the only thing the arab bunch really understand. You have to make them pay when they get frisky. Anything short of that is just hopey changey.
I wonder why Natanyahu is holding back other than that attack plans are completely off the table and outside the realm of reality. Every day that passes makes things more challenging without any prospect of American help on the horizon.
Have you seen any other media coverage of this story? I have not. The only indicator of concern I’ve seen is a slight elevation of the VIX on the stock markets which are sputtering higher in spite of what’s happening in the world economically, politically and financially. AAPL is THE big story on CNBC.
If Syrian missiles pose a direct threat to any Israeli flights over their country on the way to Iran, then they have to be taken out first, and early.
It must suck to be a Syrian missile soldier. ‘INCOMING’
stupid — would they really prefer AlQaeda or the Islamic state on their border? Better the devil you know (Assad) than the devil you know will be worse
