That line put out by the environazis is not true. Have you ever left one of the bags in the sun? They soon break down and fall apart. Do you recall the hysteria over the oil spill from the platform in the Gulf of Mexico? Go back there today and it is like nothing happened. Oil has been seeping into the ocean for millennia and bacteria have evolved that can eat the oil. There was actually a bloom of these bacteria with the extra source of food. Similar for the bags, which are made from oil.

LOL, I know that they are biodegradable. They should come with an expiration date. Bags stored indoors from two years ago have become very brittle.

In fact I find this war on “single use” grocery bags racist. They’re picking on the wrong bag.

The black garbage bags are single use and they last forever. I have leaves bagged in them from five years ago. They’re composting nicely. The bags are still strong.
