Here is just one example of walker taking ACTION against illegal immigrants:
Walkers 2011 Budget Eliminated A Program That Grants In-State College Tuition To Children Of Undocumented Immigrants(link===>):.

doughtyone wants everyone to believe that a supposed comment taken out of context negates Walkers amazingly impressive record of passing conservative laws even some against illegals.Scott walker has the most impressive record of passing conservative laws in history. a comment means nothing. the record is there
typical liberal news media smear tactic
I’ve seen something similar to this post on the forum a number of times now. It’s as inaccurate now as it was the other times.
Here: “Actions, results mean everything. Words mean nothing.”
If this is true, then we can never vet our candidates. And if we can never vet our candidates, then we are no better than the Democrats who refuse to vet theirs.
A simple question was asked. It wasn’t clever. It wasn’t unfair. It was a straight up question. It got a straight up answer.
Folks can judge for themselves.
Scott has a problem.
He states his immigration policy has changed.
What do you do if you want to protect the jobs of U. S. Citizens? Dont you send back the people who are here illegally holding down jobs?
In this video clip his old (2013) policy is aired in a second video clip. He backs illegals staying in the U. S. if they pay a fine.
It is also mentioned that he favored the McCain/Kennedy immigration bill. (You know, amnesty but not an amnesty) He acknowledges that.
Then in this (03/01/2015) clip, Walker is asked if illegals can stay, if they pay a fine. He responds with, I believes a way can be found to do that.
This is the same policy as his old policy.
Then he states that his policy has changed. No Scott, it hasnt changed. You just got through endorsing the same policy, illegals being allowed to stay in our country if they pay a fine. So you even fibbed about it.
In 2006/07, 2013, and now in 2015, his immigration policy regarding illegal immigrants is the same as that under McCain/Kennedy. Let them pay a fine and stay.
Immigration is discussed starting at 9:20 and the ...a way can be found... is located at 10:20

I’m not sure what you mean when you say Walker “passed a law”. Doesn’t the state legislature pass laws and the governor sign them into law?
The state legislature has passed legislation that Walker didn’t put forward. A recent example would be the right to work legislation that Walker didn’t want to pursue at this time, he called it a “distraction” but said he would sign if it reached his desk.
Walker himself has said that he has been fortunate to have a conservative legislature to work with and that our system of checks and balances causes gridlock. He admits he would not have been able to forward his big and bold agenda without his conservative legislature.
As for the in-state tuition repeal for illegal immigrants that was sort of a no-brainer. WI taxpayers were not happy about this perk and Walker had a state in a terrible financial situation. He needed to make cuts and this was one of them. If he really wanted to do something about the illegals he didn’t say so. If they had applied at our university would the state know their whereabouts? As far as I know none of them were arrested and sent back home.
